What is an adjustable bed?
An adjustable bed allows you to electronically control the head and foot positions of your bed frame using wireless controls. We have three models: Drift Classic, Drift Pro, and Drift Elite. Each model has head and foot adjustment capabilities, with a range of other extra features specific to each model.
What parts of the bed are adjustable?
All of our frames have head and leg adjustments, with our Drift Elite also offering neck adjustments. There are also extra adjustment features with each model – you can review our comparison charts to identify each frame’s features.
Do I need a specific mattress?
Yes – not all mattresses will work with an adjustable frame. If you already have a foam or latex mattress, you may be in luck that it is flexible enough to bend with your frame. If it’s not, or if you’re looking for a new mattress anyway, you need to ensure it’s compatible with an adjustable bed. Something to also consider is that a mattress more than 12 inches thick will not be as flexible, and therefore may not be compatible with an adjustable base. Please check with your manufacturer to confirm whether it is compatible prior to purchase.
Which mattress works best with an adjustable frame?
The best type of mattress we recommend pairing with your electric frame is a foam or latex mattress. These have the most elasticity and flexibility to move and bend with your frame. Something to also consider is that a mattress more than 12 inches thick will not be as flexible, and therefore may not be compatible with an adjustable base. Please check with your manufacturer to confirm whether it is compatible prior to purchase.

Can I use an adjustable bed with my existing bed frame?
If you have a standard-panel decorative bedframe and can remove the wooden slats, most frames should fit inside (make sure to check the dimensions of both elements to make sure). Our Drift Classic and Drift Pro models are compatible with bed frames – their zero-clearance design works on both slatted and platform beds, as well as most other bed frames. We would also recommend using bed slat brackets with these models. Our Drift Elite is not compatible with a standard bed frame.
Do adjustable bed frames have adjustable legs?
All Drift models come with 3”, 6”, and 9” adjustable leg options. Our Drift Classic and Drift Pro can also be used with no legs (base height). Please see the product specification for the height range on each model.
Are adjustable frames compatible with a headboard?
Adjustable bases replace the need for a frame, but they typically don't come with headboards as traditional frames do. We offer headboard brackets compatible with 6" and 9" adjustable legs so that you can directly attach your headboard to your adjustable bed base if desired.

That’s no problem! By combining two of our Twin XLs, you can enjoy both synced and independent control of your frames.

What is your return policy?
We offer a 100-night trial, letting you try out our frames and mattresses for up to 100 nights after purchase! To ensure that you have tried and tested your products thoroughly and become familiar with them prior to deciding if you want to return, we require a 20-day minimum trial period. Therefore, you can return no less than 20 and no more than 100 days after your purchase.
